REVIEWER’s REPORT

On the paper

The fractional-order improved quantum logistic map: chaos, 0-1

test, complexity, and control

In this paper, based on the quantum logistic map and Caputo-like delta difference operator, a fractional-order improved quantum logistic map is designed. The fractional map is found to have hidden attractors. Its dynamical behaviors are investigated by employing phase portraits, bifurcation diagrams, Lyapunov spectrum, and dynamical map and 0-1 test.

The results are reliable from a scientific standpoint, and the article is well-written. I believe the work could benefit from a few important yet necessary changes, such as:

1.    The introduction part should be included with the novelty and significance of the paper.

2.      The abstract should be rewritten. The abstract should contain only the key findings of this paper.

3.    What are the new things introduced in this paper?

4.    Please remove lines 61-74 from this paper. The authors should be careful when submitting the paper's final version while submitting the final version of the paper.

5.    The authors are advised to give different names for all the figures.

6.    Explain more about figure v in the paper.

7.    To show the efficiency of the method, the comparison result with the existing method can be provided.

8.    Please check the manuscript carefully for typos and grammar errors.

9.    Some of the mathematical notations are not explained.

10. The authors may include some latest papers related to fractional order in the reference section and properly cite them. For example, https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-3-642-18101-6_3https://doi.org/10.3390/fractalfract6090532https://doi.org/10.1016/j.physa.2022.127813.

11. Some of the references are not properly cited.

Considering the above points, I recommend the paper for a Major revision to the journal Axioms.
