Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

I think this is a good job. The topic and research work are very interesting. The authors should add more discussion about the results, what is the comparison of your research work to the world? In light of literatures, the authors should compare this research with other related literatures. I think it is important and missing here.

Reviewer 2 Report

I found the article very interesting, well designed, with good justification of the hypotheses and methodology, and well written. I think the article is almost ready to be published. I suggest the following very minor improvements.

1. The abstract describes what has been done in the research and the results. I recommend adding a short paragraph explaining the research problem that the authors want to address. This will help the readers to understand from the beginning the focus of the article.

2. More implications of the results are needed. This is because the article is biased in favour of technical aspects of the models employed, methodology and results. In particular: (i) implications for policy makers. This has been done, but I think this could be extended further; (ii) implications for land users.

3. Authors should add limitations of the research in the conclusions.
