Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors present a clear and comprehensive review of the genetics of the low phospholipid-associated cholelithiasis.

Reviewer 2 Report

This is a very clear and comprehensive review of the relationship between LPAC and ABCB4. The authors are world experts on cholesterol gallstone formation, with a deep understanding of the physicochemical factors underlying bile formation and the pathogenesis of cholelithiasis and gallstones. Although the genetics of ABCB4 and LPAC have been the subject of review, the authors bring a new perspective to the subject.

I had no concerns regarding the material or writing.
