Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The  Review , “Carboxypeptidase A3 - a Key Component of the Protease Phe- 2 notype of Mast Cells” by Dmitri Atiakshinet al deserve high priority score  and should be accepted to Cells.

In the present review the authors provided very good review on the role played by  CPA3 in mast cell functions. This  ,will help the  prognosis, and potential f targeted therapy. The authors reviewed a variety experimental approaches which definitely allowed them to reach their conclusions . The conclusions of the paper are clearly derived from these screening.

Reviewer 2 Report

In the manuscript “Carboxypeptidase A3 - a Key Component of the Protease Phenotype of Mast Cells" the authors review, based on studies from their laboratory as well as from others, the associations of mast cell phenotypes with carboxypeptidase A3 expression. The authors conclude that CPA3 is a promising target in translational medicine, in terms of diagnostic value and as a potential target for targeted therapy. This review in general is well written and the topic is interesting. I only suggest improving the resolution of all micrographs. After completing this requirement, I consider that the manuscript can be accepted for publication in Cells.

Author Response

The authors thank the Reviewer #2 for his comments. Accordingly we improved the resolution of all micrographs.
