The paper of Schmidt and Eschig reports a new method for the synthesis of functionalizable polyurethanes. Although various errors, that are probably due to the used template, are present in the paper, it is quite clear and well written. The experimental part, as well as the interpretation of the experimental data given by the authors are clearly described, and I recommend the paper for publication on Polymers.

Note: Abstract should be written using the simple present tense of the verbs.
