Some minor issues are easy to fix to improve the quality of the comprehensive review. Please modify the conclusions. Please add few more key findings here. The manuscript would benefit tremendously from language editing by a native English speaker. This is an interesting research, and I believe the manuscript is worth to be published.

Response 1: Thanks for your comment. We modified the conclusions section improving the summary of the microenvironment role in tumor progression and of new tools useful in screening, diagnosis, therapy and follow-up of thyroid cancer.

Thyroid carcinoma; Angiogenic microenvironment; Prognostic factors; Antiangiogenic therapy; Therapeutic target; Tumor microenvironment; Tumor behavior; Proliferation pathways; Cell cycle control pathways; Angiogenesis process.

References are great.  Very nice and important review for thyroid cancer.  Nice explanation of angiogenesis and the angiogenic switch.

One minor issue:  I could not find Table 1.  Is Table 2 supposed to be Table 1?
