The ozone pollution has been a critical problem under climate change for temperature increase drives the photochemical reactions, especially in summer. This paper investigates the ozone patterns in the GBA where the topic is attractive and interesting. The analysis is solid and reliable, so that this paper can be potentially accepted. But some revisions are needed.

Abstract: authors need to present the full name of the NMVOC.

Introduction, it is comprehensive and well written. However, from line 67-74, there is a gap in writing, where the research gap cannot support the research aim. Please rewrite. Moreover, it would be great if authors can link the variation of the drivers to the photochemical reaction into the research aim. It would be more logical. Please see the temperature increase trend in China: Beating the urban heat: Situation, background, impacts and the way forward in China. Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, 161, 112350.

Subsection 2.2.1 The sensors for Ozone are not even on the map, which can introduce some uncertainties when exploring the impact of land cover (2.2.4). Please discuss this in the limitation section.

Line 239-240, this sentence can be removed. Definitely, the corrected data can be more accurate.

Fig.4, meteorology, a combined result of air temperature, relative humidity, and pressure? Moreover, the scale ranges between 0-1, any negative impacts? The same question in Fig.5.

Figure 6, any difference in the blue and red legend?

Fig.7, please circle the meteorology, anthropogenic emission, and landscape pattern into different sections. Have you examined if the contributions of different factors were significant?

In the discussion section, please add a paragraph on the limitation of this study, and a paragraph on the implications for urban planning and design, or air pollution management actions.
