Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Overall good work. Your figures need to be improved in terms of resolution. Please see my detailed comments in the attached document

This paper proposed a coherent change detection method based on multi-scale analysis to extract typical changed area in complex scenes.

Here are my concerns:

1.       The novelty and motivation of this work is not very clear. Please rewrite the introduction to show the motivations and contributions of this work.

2.       The punctuation marks in Section 2 should be unified:

“Step 1 …

Step 2: …”

3.       In addition to Table 1, more numerical results should be given to illustrate the effectiveness of this paper.

4.       The legend appears to be missing in Figure 12.

5.       12. Reproducibility and replicability form the bases of scientific research.

a) Are the SAR images and their ground truth available freely available?

b) Are the source-codes of your experimental results available?

6.       The authors should make sure the conclusions reflect on the strengths and weaknesses of their work, how others in the field can benefit from it and thoroughly discus future work. The conclusions should be different in content from the abstract, and be rather longer.

7.       The writing of the paper needs to be further polished to make it publishable.

Remarks:

Page 4, row 156 and elsewhere: All variables in the text need to be italic N, i, etc.

Page 14, 460-463: It is written: CCD At this time, due to the independent reconstruction method used in multi-scale reconstruction, the weights can be adjusted and combined, the small traces are retained, and the difference between the typical changed area and the false alarm interference area is increased. contrast between.

Missing full stop after CCD. There is not necessary full stop after increased.

The entire text of the article needs to be carefully read and accurately formatted (the punctuation marks need to be correct where it is necessary).

Reviewer 4 Report

A very practical paper on Coherent Change Detection.

I have the sense that it is one of best papers on the use of coherence on change detection.

The paper is mathematically as well as schematically well supported.

An extensive review of the literature on the topic is provided with the Introduction describing the existing techniques.

Results are marginally adequate.

Marginal are also the provided comparisons.

The Authors have to take care about punctuation and spaces among the number of the references and text as well as at the end of some sentences.

Please publish the paper after minor revisions.
