Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Research in this area has been conducted for quite a long time. The research topic is relevant.

The manuscript is clear, relevant to the field, presented in a reasonably structured form.

• References to literature are recent and relevant for the last five years.

• Excessive self-cementing was not detected.

• The manuscript is scientifically substantiated, there are diagrams and visual images.

• The research results are sufficiently reproducible.

• The photographs are of good quality, the tables are clear and sufficient.

• The research data are presented consistently and are well interpreted.

• The conclusions are consistent with the evidence and arguments.

• The data provided are clear enough and sufficient for the reader.

• The results of other works are well described.

• The calculations contain modern results.

• The error of the experimental and calculated experiments is not indicated.

• The practical significance of the study is good.

I believe that the work can be published.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The article aims to propose a OpenModelica simulation library for geothermal heat supply network system in residential buildings with detailed insights into in-house geothermal heat collectors (i.e. GHC). Moreover, two case studies have been conducted to evaluate the library effectiveness. The overall article is well-described with clear structure.

Besides descriptions about two simulation-based case studies, it is recommended to analyze simulation speed to show its computational performances as well as conduct benchmark between a real building performance and simulation results to guarantee model accuracy.
