Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear authors,

In table 1, why the switch S14 is not considerable?

The prototype connections are poorly explored, the recommendation is: to give more information about electrical connections.

The results are not properly discussed, I suggest you give more details about the results obtained in the output of the system.

The simulation and experimental results plotted in the same graphic make the easiest way to compare and identify similarities in the waves.

In the current curves isn't identified the load values used in the system, which are necessary to understand the output curves.

On the Figs. 6, 8, and 10 what is the difference between blue and red curves? that is not described in the article.

The efficiency plot doesn't show how it was calculated, I recommend describing that in more detail.

Reviewer 2 Report

> Can you add more practical examples of the applications of the proposed technology?

> How IBRs will benefit from this technology?

> Will there be any application for EV Charging station integration and power quality issues?

> Can you highlight more clearly how this work is different from your earlier work: https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0269714

Reviewer 3 Report

The authors should expand the discussions and experimental results.

-The number and types of experiments performed should be expanded.

-The experiments should be further discussed.

-The results of the experiments must clearly show the convenience and novelty of the proposal.

-There is Lack of identification in several curves presented.
