Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Interesting topic with emphasis on the effect of visit for event or sport tourism especially due the Covid-19. One critical aspect that need to be reviewed is the expectation and satisfaction of the event by the tourist and as to how the safety and health concern really play the role based on existing literature. This is must in order to put the context which a bit missing in the early part of the article and in the conclusion.

I have review the interesting study entitled, “Sport Event Tourism in Bucharest. UEFA EURO 2020 case study.”

The manuscript described that event tourism is encouraging tourism flows and can stimulate socio-economic development of a destination such as Bucharest. Mega-sport events were among the very few types of events attracting tourists during Covid-19 period in 2020. The aim of this study was to analyse domestic tourists participation and satisfaction towards the sport event UEFA 2020.
