Reviewer 2 Report

The abstract and paper should avoid general and vague phrases, such as: in the last years, several studies, huge number.

Abstract should present the objectives, design and results o0f the research. Currently, it is hard to follow.

It is unclear why SWOT is mentioned as the most important topic. This is a generic approach that can be applied anywhere. The paper should discuss agricultural frameworks.

The structure of the paper is not clear enough. It should be explained in the introduction.

Section 3 is not needed. Section 2 should be split.

Discussion should be rewritten without excessive use of the bullet points.

Conclusions should deliver policy implications. The directions for further research should be discussed.

The following paper should be included in the literature review:

Dabkiene, V., Balezentis, T., & Streimikiene, D. (2021). Development of agri-environmental footprint indicator using the FADN data: Tracking development of sustainable agricultural development in Eastern Europe. Sustainable Production and Consumption, 27, 2121-21233

Reviewer 3 Report

This is good piece of research. However, I have two issues:

  1. The abstract and introduction are not focussed and succinct. the contribution the paper is making is not clearly spelt out.
  2. needs a thorough editing to improve English.
