Reviewer 2 Report

I think that it is an interesting work based on a reliable review of the available literature

I don't think that Authors own cases should be described in a meta-analysis

References are not in the journal style

I found one typing mistakes: line 44 "middle" instead of "meddle"

Author Response

Dear Editor,

Thank you very much for taking the time to review this manuscript and for your kind comments.

Case reports were excluded from our meta-analysis. We have taken great care to ensure that our data is well-documented, with no duplications, and that each case is clearly referenced. We believe that excluding our cases from the analysis would introduce bias, as our inclusion criteria have been carefully established based on scientific and methodological considerations."

We have converted our references to the Chicago Style format, and we've also corrected the typing error in line 44 of our document.

Please find the corresponding corrections highlighted in the re-submitted files

Kind regards,

Efterpi Michailidou

Reviewer 3 Report

Dear Authors and dear Editors,

thank you so much for allowing me to review this original and interesting manuscript.

I’m convinced that, in general, the surgical outcomes strongly depend on the experience and daily practice of each surgeon, but you selected an analyzed an excellent series of data, which will improve knowledge to readers about this topic.

I have no suggestions for you and in my opinion this manuscript can be quickly published in this form.
