Impaired Vestibulo-Ocular Reflex on Video Head Impulse Test in Superior Canal Dehiscence: “Spontaneous Plugging” or Endolymphatic Flow Dissipation?
Abstract
:1. Introduction
2. Materials and Methods
- Ears with SCD exhibiting a VOR gain impairment for the affected SSC were included in the “not-operated SCD” group;
- Ears with SCD that were operated on through a surgical plugging due to disabling symptoms were included in the “post-operative SCD” group. In this case, the instrumental measurements used for the correlation analysis refer to data collected at 6-months after surgery.
