Abstract Over 600 Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charging ports have been installed to support New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Charge NY initiative, which is focused on supporting EV market development in New York State. These installations represent a wide range of business models and approaches for providing public charging to learn how different stations are used, including which types of locations are the most promising. EV charging station usage statistics based on various station attributes help determine where installing EV charging stations is a good investment.
