Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The contents of this paper are very interesting and very useful for many potential readers of this journal. This is a very useful paper. The abstract should tell you what to expect and found. Unfortunately, the abstract is too general. Please improve the abstract to convey what the main findings of the study is.

The number of relevant references in my opinion is still insufficient. A more thorough literature review is needed. This will help with discussion as it will enable you to present results in broader context, greatly enhancing value of the work.

Reviewer 2 Report

In order to improve quality of this paper, it would be better to use the international vehicle driving cycles(i.e. WLTP or FTP75) than the informal vehicle driving condition as shown in Fig. 15. Moreover, authors would like to verify the proposed methodology according to the actual vehicle design, some other requirements of electric motor should be considered such as climbing condition with maximum torque at base motor speed during 1 minute, etc.
