Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Dear Authors,

the work done for this manuscript is very interesting, however is poorly described and without a good description it seems chaotic and point of the study is missed out. Below you can find my remarks.

L62: PDB should be an abbreviation for Potato Dextrose Broth not Potato Dextrose Water

L:70 Type of filter should be indicated

L:75 What type of flask is triangular mill flask? Do you mean Erlenmeyer/conical flask?

Table 1: The description of NBS Unit by the "Level of Chromatic Aberration" is unclear to me, is 1.5-3 units smaller change than 0.5-1.5 unit? Description of the scale should be corrected.

L: 113 A. and T. should also be in italics.

L:126-128: the sentence is unclear, please rewrite it.

L:133: what was the purpose of distillation column?

L: 151-155: symbols from the equation should be written in the same in the text.

L:173: sentence should be corrected.

Table 2.: Column "Speciment infected area" should be better described, I suggest the use of decimals, they are easier to read. It should be "no mycelium or mold on the surface..."

Eq. 7: description should use the same symbol as equation.

L 198: Unit for resolution is missing.

L246: Name safflower was not introduced before, please add a Latin name to it.

Table 4: do not mix table with pictures, table 4 need description what does "/" mean? Growth charts should be separate and well described.

Table 5: needs description, none of the letter symbols is described.

L:276-286: It is very unclear, please rewrite this paragraph.

Conclusion: The conclusion is the summary of the results, however it does not gives any direction for the future researches or for the utilisation of natural dyes as bamboo colorants with mold preventing properties, one or two sentences with strong conclusion would be good.

It is also noticeable that there is no discussion of the results with the literature. Discussion should be incorporated to deal with extracts with anti fungal properties, metal Ions with these properties. Maybe some previous studies on anti fungal effects of natural extracts.
