Analytical Diagnostic and Control System of Energy and Mechanical Efficiency of Electric Drives
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
Comments and Suggestions for Authors1- In the abstract, revise grammar for fluency, e.g.,
“...supported by experiments.” → “...which are supported by experimental validation.”
“...we carried out the experiments.” → “...used in our experiments.”
2- For Table 1, some variables need clearer explanations or unit indications.
3- Figure 13: Labeling of modes (idle, loaded) is appreciated. Consider including these in figure captions explicitly.
4- You might Compare your system’s performance (detection accuracy, sensitivity) with other methods.
and
Discuss limitations (e.g., sampling rate, real-time constraints, generalization to other drive types).
5- Consider briefly stating potential for AI integration or predictive maintenance.
6-Scalability Discussion: Could the proposed system be scaled for multi-drive monitoring in industrial settings?
7- Integration with AI: Since you mention machine learning as future work, outline possible integration points or algorithms (e.g., anomaly detection, pattern recognition).
8- Numerous grammar and syntax issues affect readability. A language revision by a fluent English speaker is recommended.

Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsDear Author,
Thank you for your important and interesting research on analytical diagnostic and control system of electric drives. I agree with your presentation format and delta description of the evidence base of the research. I will have just a couple of additional questions, which I hope will help your Readers understand the essence of the research in more detail:
1. Introduction. When you demonstrate possible causes of wear and tear and types of reduction in the efficiency of the electric drive, could you support these points with parameter values? In what range does the deterioration of certain values or the percentage of failure of a certain parameter typically occur?
2. Is it possible to reform Fig. 4 into a table for a clearer presentation of the data?
3. Did you control the temperature and humidity of the environment during the tests? Does this have any effect?
I wish you success in all future research!
Kind regards,
Reviewer
