Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

First of all, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to review your work. I think your work is of great interest and has great applications, as increasingly in sport, whether amateur or professional, psychological aspects are more and more important. However, I believe that the use of a tool that analyses so many psychological aspects may provide less relevant data than tools that analyse more specific psychological aspects. For example, you can focus your data on anxiety, one of the traits that most affect sports performance. For this there are more specific instruments, such as the CSAI 2 Test (Martens) or the STAI Test. I believe that in this way, the results you obtain may have more significance in your results.

Author Response

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for your effort to read, analyse and give your opinion on our Manuscript. We also thank you for expressing your positive opinion about our work.We also thank you for your suggestion regarding psychological testing. We had a particularly great discussion and paid our attention on more specific instruments, such as the CSAI 2 (Martens) Test or the STAI Test.As our research studies are still ongoing and we are expanding our study group and the number of genes we want to analyse, there is a real chance that we will also use more specific instruments that the Reviewer wished to mention. This is a valuable comment and we want to thank you very much for it.

Reviewer 2 Report
