Comments to the manuscript ijms-2329308 "Cadmium absorption in various genotypes of rice under cadmium stress".

Authors propose the report of a two-years research aimed to study the cadmium absorption in rice as related to soil content, genotypes, plant organs, and plant development stage. The metabolic screening is integrated with the determination of the content of some enzyme systems linked to the antioxidant activity like MAD, GSH, GSSH, POD, SOD, and CAD. Moreover, the research is completed with the study of the expression level of some genes related to the cadmium absorption. The research was correctly designed and carried out and the information obtained represents a good contribute to the field of study. The manuscript is sufficiently well written and the results clearly presented. I recommend the Authors to carefully check the text for minor editing mistakes (e.g.: the use of capitals and the puntuaction). After this revision the manuscript, in my opinion, is acceptable for publication.
