The synthesis of several quinolinimidoacetic acid derivatives (I) by two different routes, starting from quinolinic anhydride or quinolinimide, is described. In all cases better yields and decreased reaction times were achieved employing microwave irradiation as an alternative source of energy. View Full-Text
