Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to contribute to the Sci Special Issue “Dual Disorder Patients: Clinical and Therapeutical Aspects - Volume Two”. We welcome the submission of both original research and critical review articles for possible publication in the issue.

Topics of interest for this issue include:

  • Predictors of substance use patterns and transition to addiction in relation to coexisting psychiatric disorders;
  • Effectiveness of anticraving agents in specific dual diagnosis clinical pictures;
  • Evidence of persistent psychiatric disorders induced by addictive substance use;
  • Improvements in early and late attrition of dual diagnosis patients enrolled in addiction treatment programs;
  • Therapies targeting psychotic symptoms of cannabis users and aggressive behavior of cannabis using patients;
  • Opiate agonists and antagonists: effects of dual diagnosis and related behaviors, in a categorial or dimensional perspective.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Sci is an international peer-reviewed open access quarterly journal published by MDPI.
