Collaboration between Oceans and the “Iron at the Air-Sea Interface Workshop”
We are pleased to announce the first collaboration between Oceans and the “Iron at the Air-Sea Interface Workshop” (https://zzqvaay3twhzlhnmvpvdvq-on.drv.tw/Web/Iron_Workshop/), which will be held in Asheville, NC, USA, on 26-30 July 2021. This workshop is dedicated to improving the understanding of how bioaccessible LFe moves across the ocean–atmosphere interface and becomes bioavailable for uptake in the ocean at scales that are important for ocean ecosystems and the carbon cycle.
Oceans (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/oceans) is an open-access journal that normally charges authors an article processing fee. However, the delegates of this workshop will enjoy 100% discounts on manuscripts submitted to Oceans in 2021. Moreover, articles will be published as soon as the reviewers and editors accept them rather than waiting for the issue deadline. Instructions on submitting to Oceans can be found at https://www.mdpi.com/journal/oceans/instructions.
All submissions will be subject to standard reviewing procedures to ensure reasonable standards of writing and accuracy. Authors who plan to submit a manuscript related to Iron at the Air-Sea Interface are asked to notify Prof. Dr. Nicholas Meskhidze ([email protected]) or Prof. Dr. Bill Landing ([email protected]) before their submissions.
