Travel Award
Launched in 2025, the Journal of Cybersecurity and Privacy Travel Award is presented annually to encourage junior scientists to present their latest research at academic conferences in fields such as information display, computer and network security, cryptography, cyber–physical system security, digital forensics, and related areas. This award helps emerging researchers grow their professional profile. Applications are open from June to October each year, and winners are announced by the end of December.
Prize:
– CHF 500;
– A certificate;
– A voucher waiving the Article Processing Charge (APC) for one submission to the journal (subject to peer review), valid for one year.

Eligibility and Requirements
– Postdoctoral fellow or PhD student;– Plans to attend an international conference in 2026 (oral presentation or poster).
List of Documents for Application
– Information about the conference and the abstract to be submitted;– Curriculum Vitae and list of publications;
– Justification letter describing the focus of the research (max. 800 words);
– Letter of recommendation from the supervisor, research director, or department head, which also confirms the applicant’s status.
