Recruiting Editors for New Journal Geomatics


Geomatics
(ISSN xxxx-6835) is an international and interdisciplinary peer-reviewed open access journal of geomatic science, published quarterly online by MDPI. We are recruiting Editorial Board (EB) members whose research interests are related, but not limited, to the following aspects:

  • Geodesy;
  • Digital mapping;
  • Cartography;
  • Geodetic and control surveys;
  • Construction surveys;
  • Deformation measurements;
  • Hydrography;
  • Land information systems (LIS);
  • Photogrammetry;
  • Remote sensing;
  • GNSS and GPS;
  • Geographical information systems;
  • Spatial data analysis;
  • Spatial information science;
  • Image processing and analysis;
  • Application of geomatics.

Geomatics covers fields including surveying and mapping, geodesy, photogrammetry, cartography and cadastral, hydrography, remote sensing, spatial data analysis, spatial information science, and geographic information systems. Our aim is to publish papers on the latest advances, as well as review articles, concerning all aspects of geomatic sciences. There is no restriction on the length of papers. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced.

Editorial Board members have the following responsibilities:

  • Making decisions on whether a manuscript can be accepted or not, based on the reports we collect;
  • Reviewing a small number of papers per year;
  • Acting as a Guest Editor of a Special Issue on a topic related to your research interests;
  • Promoting Geomatics and increasing its visibility at related academic conferences.
