As an Editorial Board Member, you would have the following responsibilities:

• Promoting Ecologies (ISSN: 2673-4133) on your social media or among your acquaintances;
• Supervising the quality of the papers in Ecologies (when we have new submissions that fit well with your expertise);
• Acting as/recommending a Guest Editor for a Special Issue on a topic related to your research interests;
• Providing conference/society collaboration recommendations;
• Providing suggestions or comments on journal development.

As an Editorial Board Member, you would have the following benefits:

• Publishing one paper free of charge in Ecologies per year, as well as publishing extra papers with special discounts;
• Publishing one paper free of charge in your own Special Issue per year;
• Organizing or promoting your own conferences by using our platform SciForum;
• A CHF 300-500 travel grant will be offered to Editorial Board Members that make significant contributions to the journal;
• Recommending/inviting your colleagues to submit full research articles or review papers with special discounts.

Ecologies is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to exploring all aspects of ecology published quarterly online by MDPI. Established in 2020, it is indexed in prominent databases including ESCI-Web of Science, Scopus, and CNKI. The journal boasts an Impact Factor (IF) of 1.9, ranking in the “Ecology” category (Q3). Additionally, it achieved a CiteScore of 3.0 in 2024, placing in the “Agricultural and Biological Sciences “category (Q2) and “Ecology” category (Q2).
