Infectious Disease

This section of Diseases (ISSN 2079-9721) provides an open platform for research into all aspects of diseases known or suspected to have an infectious cause. The goal is to provide a platform for all health professionals to share knowledge and insights regarding infectious diseases, providing a better understanding of their etiologies, prevention methods, pathogenetic mechanisms and clinical aspects and to improve diagnostic methodologies. The overall intention is to help improve treatment and management of patients suffering from these diseases and to help devise preventative measures so that people and their livestock, their pets and the wildlife that are so important in our lives can be preserved. Authors are encouraged to submit timely and important findings that will provide insight into infectious diseases.
