Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Climate change is causing considerable challenges for agricultural producers and other value chain actors. Furthermore, fluctuations in production endanger food security in many countries worldwide, especially in developing countries. The scientific community is discussing various adaptation strategies along the value chains. The aim of this Special Issue is to investigate the role of financial instruments, mechanisms, and policy interventions in terms of increasing the resilience of actors along the value chains, from producer to consumers. We highly welcome particularly studies investigating the role of credits, insurances, state support and protection programs on reducing climate vulnerability of agricultural producers and consumers.
