CivilEng Webinar | Advances in Computational Mechanics for Civil Infrastructure, 9 October 2025

In recent years, advanced numerical modeling and simulation techniques have been increasingly integrated into civil infrastructure research and practice. Computational mechanics has provided an array of powerful tools to address complex problems in structural analysis, fluid dynamics, and fluid–structure interaction, enabling engineers to design and evaluate infrastructure systems with unprecedented precision and efficiency.

This workshop aims to bring together researchers and practitioners to share recent advances in computational mechanics and its applications to civil infrastructure. Topics will cover a wide spectrum of methods and case studies, including structural simulation, fluid and wind engineering, coupled multi-physics analysis, and emerging applications in renewable energy facilities such as wind turbines. By fostering interdisciplinary exchange, the workshop seeks to promote innovation, strengthen collaborations, and chart future directions for the sustainable development of civil infrastructure.
