Recruiting Editorial Board Members for Animals


Animals
(ISSN: 2076-2615) is currently recruiting Editorial Board Members for the following Sections:

  • “Animal Ethics”;
  • “Birds”;
  • “Public Policy, Politics and Law”;
  • “Zoo Animals”;
  • “Herpetology”;
  • “Mammals”;
  • “Animal Products”.

Animals is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal devoted entirely to animals, including zoology and veterinary sciences, published semimonthly online by MDPI.

The World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) and the European College of Animal Welfare and Behavioural Medicine (ECAWBM) are affiliated with Animals. At present, the journal is covered by the following indexing platforms: Scopus, SCIE (Web of Science), PubMed, PMC, Embase, PubAg, AGRIS, Animal Science Database, and CAB Abstracts. The impact factor of Animals was 2.753 in 2020, and the 5-year impact factor was 2.942. The Animals website can be accessed via the following link: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/animals.

The responsibilities of Editorial Board Members include the following:

  • Supervising the editorial process, including prescreening submissions and making final decisions on whether to accept or reject papers;
  • Contributing your work and inviting 3–5 papers to Animals;
  • Choosing to edit a Special Issue on a topic related to your research, or recommending potential topics and Guest Editors.
