The 1st International Conference on Micromachines and Application (ICMA 2021)— Open for Submission

A Feature Paper should be a substantial original Article that involves several techniques or approaches, provides an outlook for future research directions and describes possible research applications.
Feature papers are submitted upon individual invitation or recommendation by the scientific editors and must receive positive feedback from the reviewers.
Editor’s Choice articles are based on recommendations by the scientific editors of MDPI journals from around the world. Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. The aim is to provide a snapshot of some of the most exciting work published in the various research areas of the journal.

We are pleased to announce that the Micromachines 2021—1st International Conference on Micromachines and Applications (ICMA-2021), chaired by Prof. Dr. Ion Stiharu, will be held at Sciforum (https://sciforum.net/conference/Micromachines2021) from 15 to 30 April, 2021.
These are some of the topics that we expect to cover:

2) Microfluidic micromachines
3) Micromachines for bio-medical applications
4) Micromachines for bio-chemical applications
5) Micromachines for green energy
6) Micromachines for a clean environment
7) Micromachines for bio-sensing

The conference will be completely free of charge, both to attend and for scholars to upload and present their latest work on the conference platform. Accepted papers will be gathered in the proceedings of the conference. Selected extended versions of the papers will be published in the journal Micromachines with a discount of 20% on the article processing charge (ISSN 2072-666X; Impact Factor: 2.523, https://www.mdpi.com/journal/micromachines).
