Recruiting Editorial Board Members for Fermentation


To further enhance the international influence of Fermentation (ISSN: 2311-5637) and promote academic exchange among researchers, we are currently recruiting prestigious scholars from around the world to join our Editorial Board.

Recruitment:
Editorial Board Members will hold their position for two years, with the possibility of renewal for a second term.

Main responsibilities of Editorial Board Members:

  • Pre-screening and making decisions on new submissions related to your research interests;
  • Setting up at least one Special Issue during your term on a topic related to your research interests;
  • Providing input or feedback regarding journal policies;
  • Helping to promote the journal among your peers or at conferences;
  • Attending Board meetings to suggest journal development strategies;
  • Reviewing manuscripts.

  • Publishing one paper per year free of charge in Fermentation;
  • Receiving travel grants if you lead a successful Special Issue and would like to promote it at conferences that you attend or organize;

  • Building and directing the community by identifying and introducing suitable collaborators;
  • Gaining a fresh perspective and unique insights into how this field is developing;

Eligibility criteria for applicants:

  • A completed doctorate/PhD;
  • A strong record of publishing impactful work in the field of fermentation research;
  • A current academic position as an associate professor, or professor.
