Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. The aim is to provide a snapshot of some of the most exciting work published in the various research areas of the journal.

We will be attending the WBC 2018 Sapporo in Sapporo, Japan, from August 28 to September 1, 2018. The long-established World Buiatrics Congress (WBC) is an opportunity for academic interactions in the field of ruminant animal medicine. The objective of WBC is to share scientific and practical knowledge related to various aspects of ruminant care, such as ruminant animal diseases, health management, breeding, production, and disease control. The congress provides an opportunity for exchanges of opinions among professionals involved in different areas of ruminant medicine, not only scientists from universities and research institutions, but also clinical veterinarians, manager veterinarians engaged in the dairy and livestock industry, training veterinarians, graduate students, and veterinary school students.
