Hydrobiology Accepted for Coverage in Scopus

We are pleased to announce that the open access journal Hydrobiology (ISSN: 2673-9917) was accepted into Scopus in January 2025.

We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, and Editors who have contributed to this journal and helped us to attain this achievement. Please note that while Scopus will begin indexing newly published papers after about 1 month, it may take up to another 6 months (or longer) before older volumes of the journal are indexed within Scopus. Typically, up to 4 volumes prior to the acceptance year will be indexed. Additionally, the journal will not have a profile on Scopus Preview until June 2025.

Hydrobiology is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on freshwater and marine biology, limnology, fisheries, oceanography, and aquatic ecology published online by MDPI on a quarterly basis. The journal aims to stimulate the exchange of knowledge within the scientific community through the publication of experimental and theoretical results. We encourage contributions focused on a broad range of ecological interests and impacts. Results from large temporal and spatial scales are particularly welcome.

Submissions to the journal must provide full experimental details so that the results can be reproduced.
