Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Very well written paper. It was a pleasure reading it.  I would suggest the authors compare their methods and results with those in

Reviewer 2 Report

Thank you for allowing me to read your paper.  It is very interesting, and I would offer these suggestions to make it suitable for publications IF you want a lay audience to read it.

  • This paper is fine if it is published as a methodological/technical piece.  But not ok if a lay person is interested in reading your work
  • Your methodology needs to be explained much further.  This also goes for your results and implications
  • There is a lot of work in here that you do not explain and so it's a waste if people cannot read and understand all the work you have put into this study
  • If this paper will go into a methodological or technical issue, it is fine

Reviewer 3 Report

This article has evaluated the impacts of crowdshipping through alternative scenarios that consider various levels of demand and adoption by public transport users who act as crowdshippers, based on a case study example in the city of Volos, Greece.

This paper could be a valuable contribution to the literature and will certainly be of interest to the Future Transportation readership. The paper is well written and easy to read. The content of this manuscript is innovative.
