Information regarding ethical approval was inadvertently omitted from the original publication [1]. A correction has been made in the Materials and Methods Section (Section 2.1, paragraph one).
The corrected paragraph is as follows:
The 77-year-old patient under study underwent resection at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, University Hospital of Ioannina (UHI). The operation was performed by experienced orthopaedic surgeons. Ethical approval was obtained from the University Hospital of Ioannina on 3 March 2020 (Protocol number: 1431/3-3-2020). Informed consent was obtained from the patient for participation in the current study.
