Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

I read with great interest this paper. The manuscript is well-written and very informative for the readers. I have few minor comments:

- please insert a table summarizing all recommendations for managing SCI patients' urinary symptoms

- please improve the section about the surgery. The authors included it among the limitations of the paper but I suggest discussing it in deep focusing on the role of robotic surgery.

- finally, consider the role of quality of life in analyzing all aspects related to it. Please consider the following reference: Cai, T.; Verze, P.; Bjerklund Johansen, T.E. The Quality of Life Definition: Where Are We Going? Uro 20211, 14-22. https://doi.org/10.3390/uro1010003

I read with great interest this paper. The manuscript is well-written and very informative for the readers. I have few minor comments:  RE: Thank you for this comment.  There were so many changes that we just put them in red.

Concern 1: please insert a table summarizing all recommendations for managing SCI patients' urinary symptoms   RE: This has been done

Concern 2: please improve the section about the surgery. The authors included it among the limitations of the paper but I suggest discussing it in deep focusing on the role of robotic surgery.  RE: The sphincterotomy discussion has been added too; however, the more extensive surgeries such as bladder augmentation are beyond the scope of this report - we have no suggestions!

Concern 3: finally, consider the role of quality of life in analyzing all aspects related to it. Please consider the following reference:  Cai, T.; Verze, P.; Bjerklund Johansen, T.E. The Quality of Life Definition: Where Are We Going? Uro 20211, 14-22. https://doi.org/10.3390/uro1010003.  RE: Thank you, the article is referenced and QoL issues added.

Reviewer 2 Report

Dear Authors,

I appreciated your Opinion work.

I think it is a good clinical guide and its structure let it be useful for a didactic od daily use.

I must report several suggestions to improve some text passages. I hope you will appreciate them.

Line 27 "upper motor neuron injury": it should be contextualized. It refers to bladder innervation, but it might be better explained, since this section is an abstract and it should attract the readers.

Line 53 "for individuals without SCI": I think that this expression would sound better if replaced with "In physiologic conditions" or "In sane individuals" or something like this.

Line 254: the title introduces a paragraph which represents a miscellany. I suggest so divide "other spinal cord injuries" from "other management methods" and "future perspectives".

If possible, a "conclusion" paragraph would confer a more structured layout.

I kindly suggest to create some synthetic tables to resume the entire manuscript.

Best Regards
