Comments and Suggestions for Authors

There are no tables nor figures, which is not imperative for a qualitative study. Nevertheless a presentation of the questionnaire used in this poll would be welcome.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

This is my review on your manuscript titled "Primary Care Practitioners' Perspectives on the Utility of the Metabolic Syndrome as a Diagnosis: A Qualitative Study". This study explores how general practitioners in rural Western Australia perceive the relevance and application of metabolic syndrome in clinical practice.

In the introduction you should mention why MetSy’s clinical utility remains debated and why GP perspectives are crucial.

You should explain in the methodology section why convenience and snowball sampling were chosen and mention how researcher perspectives may have influenced data interpretation.

Results and discussion are fine. I have only a few suggestions.

Consider adding a summary table of key themes with representative quotes.

Analyze whether attitudes differ based on years in practice.

Were similar trends observed in other countries?

Make suggestions on GPs’ training programs in terms of MetSy awareness.
