Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

In my opinion it is an excellent work. It is a comprehensive review of the origins of slimming diets which, as the authors clearly state, are nothing new. This type of work, oriented towards the history of science, provides valuable information that is often unknown to clinicians. I therefore believe that this article should be published. I congratulate you on your work, I liked it very much.

Reviewer 2 Report

Absolutely superb review. Saying thet it covers te material is not enough. Authors have reached to chinese antient dieths throught Europe, Ajureweda and so on. Very interesting paper. I have printed it out immediately for more reading in some future. Have learned a lot from it, it is detailed and interesting.
