Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear Authors,
I first of all would like to thank you for the opportunity to read your article. I have some queastion comments:

1. I would have expected more interpretation of the presented results;

2. please check the carefuly the number and captions of the tables, for example second use of table 1,

3. Table 9,  I don't understand what do you mean by slope, I can not find any explanaition in the text,

4. chapter 4.1 is a bit unclear for me, please check the reference to the tables.

Best wishes.

Reviewer 2 Report

The paper presents an optimization method for UAV design parameters of basing on linear programming. Here are my comments/questions:

1. In section 2 authors list the number of parameters that are optimized. An introductory section on how these parameters effect the performance of aircraft should be given.

2.  All the symbols in the equations should be defined and explained in a text.

3. Bulleting or numbering should be used where appropriate (e.g. lines 106-112)

4. Table 5: there is a typo: "4" after "SHADES algorithm parameters"
