Reviewer 2 Report
The manuscript reports the results of a study of the detector performance of an as-grown CZT crystal. Results are interesting; the entire manuscript is organized well with substantiated results and discussion. I feel that the manuscript may be accepted for publication after addressing the following queries.
1. How the composition of CZTS was optimized?. Some more details would have been much better.
2. Detector fabrication details may be more elaborated.
3. Etching details like proportion ratio and its impact could have been discussed.
