The authors wish to inform readers of an error that was overlooked during the proof-reading of the original article [1]. In Equation (3), the terms “acid” and “untreated” are incorrect. Equation (3) should be changed to the following:
ΔXparasite-host = δXparasiteδXhost
The authors state that the scientific conclusions are unaffected. This correction was approved by the Academic Editor. The original publication has also been updated.
