Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The manuscript entitled "Enhanced separation of oil and solids in oily sludge by froth  flotation at normal temperature"  investigated the optimum conditions for the usage of sodium silicate as a flotation reagent for oily sludge.  The researchers investigated the effects of different parameters such as flotation reagent type, flotation time ,flotation temperature and impeller speed.  The organization of paper is quite good and the usage of English is sufficient for making a good presentation of results. I think the paper can be acceptable in its present form but it will be better if the discussion quality of results is improved which then increase the novelty of paper.
