Factors Associated with Pain, Disability, and Quality of Life in Adults Aged 18–65 with Nonspecific Chronic Neck Pain: A Single-Center Observational Study
Highlights
- Female sex, reduced active cervical rotational mobility, and frequent medication use are associated with higher pain intensity, greater pain-related disability, and lower HRQoL in individuals with non-specific chronic neck pain.
- Reduced cervical rotation and higher drug consumption show significant cross-sectional associations with poorer clinical status in this population.
- These factors should be considered in the comprehensive clinical assessment of patients with non-specific chronic neck pain.
- Longitudinal studies are needed to determine whether these variables contribute to the development or persistence of disability and reduced HRQoL.
