The paper presents some statistical analysis about Foreign Direct Investments to MENA countries. Statistical variables used and hypotheses in the analyses seems appropriate. Also, the paper provides important conclusions on the relation between foreign direct investment and international financial reporting standards (IFRS) adoption in the countries considered in the analysis.

The paper is concerned with an important issue related to financial systems. Adoption to IFRS is should be investigated whether it is effective on the FDI decision to country. If a relation is found, policies can be developed by  governments to have more FDI. So, it is possible to say this article fits well with the scope of the journal.

Language, structure, organization, analyses and conclusions of the paper are well presented. I think this paper can be accepted in the current form. Congratulations on your efforts on the preperation phase of the study.

Author Response
