Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The article deals with a horticultural product, very important from the economic and social point of view at an international level, lettuce. In addition, the proposed and tested treatments are for the main fungi that attack this product in greenhouses. These pathogens are important for the losses it causes in the stage of growth and development. The combination of a biological agent Streptomyces strain in dual culture and crude extracts (metabolites) against Athelia rolfsii 85 and Sclerotinia sclerotiorum in vitro and in vivo conditions has several advantages, including proving an alternative system to the use of synthetic fungicides and, in addition, the extracts of the biological agent were treated with temperature (121 and 100 ᵒC) to avoid the growth of the biological agent in the in vitro and in vivo tests.

Author Response

Thank you very much for your kind revision.

Reviewer 2 Report

The manuscript plants-2398233 is well written, and clearly demonstrated  that one of the 2 different formulations of Streptomycetes can have the possibility to be used in a biological control  program against Sclerotinia sclerotum and Athelia rolfsii, in vitro conditions on seedlings of lettuce. It is my opinion that the manuscript is can be accepted with  minor revision (see my comment in the PDF).
