The review of  electronics-1721628 entitled: The recovery of power quality terminal’s harmonic data with the interference of bad data prepared by Yufei Pan , Zehui Yuan , Jiaoyu Zheng , Xiaoyang Ma

The article proposes a harmonic data recovery method based on graph clustering and non-negative matrix factorization under multiple constraints. Thus the scope of the paper is interesting. The novelty is sufficient. Content suties to Electronics journal.

The introduction is generally written. Discusses many papers. However "algorithm[4-6], state estimation method[7-18], and low-rank matrix algorithm[20-33]' using so multiple references is not recommended. Please revise.  (Issue 1) Especilly that those papers are discussed later.

For section "2.The processing of the PQT’s harmonic data" please write a short introduction of whole subsection. Please do not just start with section 2.1. (issue 2).

Line 150 "1.2 Weighting optimization based on information entropy" should be "2.2 Weighting optimization based on information entropy" (issue 3)

For section "3. Data recovery algorithm based on NMF under multiple constraints" also please write a short introduction (Issue 4).

Line 334 "[5] divides power harmonic ..." please do not start the sentence with reference number. Please use sth like "Article [5]" or similar (issue 5)

After section 4 there is a need to add a separate section that will discuss the results from section 4. Becase conclusions are general and not contain the discussion of the results. (issue 6)

Reviewer 3 Report

The current paper entitled " The recovery of power quality terminal’s harmonic data with the interference of bad data" deals with an interesting issue. Authors are asked to consider the following issues:

  1. Add your numerical findings in both abstract and conclusion sections.
  2. In Keywords, what is the PQT?
  3. Allocation of references in the survey section is not fair for many references such [7-13], [20-33], ....etc. Reduce the references to only those you used and add a critical review of each used one. Avoid unnecessary citations.
  4. Revise the main contributions of this paper.
  5. Discussion on the impact of bad data needs more attention with different levels of % bad data. What is the critical bending limit for % bad data? Are these data affect an individual or total harmonics distortion?
  6. Discuss the network configuration and harmonic sources allocation in the power grid with bad data with updating the mathematical represenation.
  7. Many typo errors
