Comments and Suggestions for Authors1) Comparison of analytical and numerical buckling load for various layup sequences of 266 Graphite/Epoxy Composite Column needs to be checked. I can see the inconsistency in the results.
2) The authors must update their introduction section. For example check recent publication like, Natural frequencies for bending vibrations of smart laminated composite plates reinforced with bamboo fibres, published by Smart Materials & Methods.
3) Performance must be shown compared to the current literature, like, Buckling behavior of standing laminated Mindlin plates subjected to body force and vertical loading published by Composite structures.
4) Effect of Column Size is unclear! please explain more.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors1. It is suggested to add a sentence for clarifying the background and theoretical and quantitative results from this study.
2. In the introduction section, some research articles are listed. But I think some key contents are lacked, such as the research shortcoming of existing research and some improved points of the applied methods in these studies. In this case, the research novelty and highlights could be pointed out.
3. Some key points are missing for the simulation result section, such as the detailed model meshes, sizes, sensitivity analysis and verification of the applied model.
4. Result contour is missing for the FIgure 4 .
5. Are there any results for the best parameter combination from the parameter analysis ?
6. How to verify the comparative results between the formula and simulation results ?
