Round  1

Reviewer 1 Report

This manuscript reports the application of spark plasa sintering as preparation method to obtain high density pallets of lithium aluminum germanio phospahte. These dense materials are proposed as solid state electrolytes in lithium cells thanks to their good ioni conductivity at room temperature. The data presented are valuable and deserve publication. The innovation proposed is interesting and well investigated. I have few minor typos to highlight:

1) in the table 1 there is a typo in the legend

2) In the figure 4 there is a typo in the caption

Moreover let me emphatize that the authors missed some references that can be usefull for a comprehensive intruduction. Let me cite as an example:

https://doi.org/10.3390/nano9050721

https://doi.org/10.3390/ma9070506

Author Response

Thank you so much for the positive comments!

We have fixed the typos in Table 1 and Figure 4, and cited these important references in the revised manuscript.

Reviewer 2 Report

This is a very interesting experimental study on solid electrolytes that is both technologically important and relevant to the aims of the journal. The importance of the findings should be better highlighted in the abstract and conclusions. Figs 2 & 3 should be made in a way that their bottom part is larger. In the Introduction some recent related theoretical papers on electrolyte materials should be added for completeness such as Solid State Ionics 335, 61 (2019); Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys. 17, 178 (2015).

Author Response

Thanks for the kind suggestion!

We have made the following revisions: (1) modify and highlight the importance findings in the abstract and conclusions; (2) modify the Figs 2 & 3; (3) revise the introduction section and cite the recommended papers, i.e. Solid State Ionics 335, 61 (2019); Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys. 17, 178 (2015).
