Comments and Suggestions for Authors

This manuscript presents a police patrol optimization solution. The manuscript is well-structured and written. Sufficient results are presented to guarantee the validity of the proposed solution. I have some suggestions to improve the manuscript; please see below:
1.    The nature of the “police patrol strategy” problem is not sufficiently described in the introduction. I suggest to present illustrative examples in order to assist readers that could be familiar with optimization methods but not this specific topic.
2.    It is recommended to contextualize the need for traffic management in the introduction. The authors should describe current state-of-art solutions for improving traffic, such as vehicle platoon, i.e. https://doi.org/10.3390/electronics14010139, https://doi.org/10.1049/itr2.70007
3.    At the multi-objective optimization, it surprised me that no weights are provided for each objective function. Please justify this solution.
4.    Figure 5 is illegible; please increase its resolution. A possible solution could be to present each subfigure as a single figure in an Annex.
5.    Section 6 title “Experiment results” should be updated to “Simulation results”, as the original title can be misleading.
6.    Given that this is an extense work, I recommend providing several numerical indicators at the conclusion, in order to prove the validity of your work.
